EVIL PEOPLE

EvilPeople, Inc. says it's "dedicated to the following ideals and dreams, as handed down by our founder, He Who Twists In Darkness And Devours The Pure." God is the best there is in the genocide business. They want to be better.

RECTAL STUFF

Rectal Foreign Bodies is exclusively concerned with medical reports about... well, you can probably guess. Complete with a special report on the widely-rumoured pratice of "gerbilling".

BLACK OPS

The The Black-Ops Conspiracy Page is a nice directory of conspiracy theories. Includes stuff like the Elkhorn Manifesto, or "Shadow of the Swastika: The Real Reason the Government Won't Debate Medical Cannabis."

Using this handy all-in-one index of Weirdness/Coolness, you can check out all the bizarre sites I've surfed by. I'm not claiming that these sites are the newest or even the weirdest and/or coolest, just that I thought they were worth taking note of.

Weird One | Weird Too | Weird Three | Weird Four |
| Weird Feature | The Stupidfun Page |

Pynchon -- All things related to Thomas Pynchon, the most famous author/recluse since J.D. Salinger. The site calls itself the San Narciso Community College site (a reference to a college in one of Pynchon's books, in case you didn't know). Another great site is Who is Thomas Pynchon and why did he run off with my wife?, a true story.

The News Babe Page -- Now this is what the Information Highway is all about: news anchors and weather girls rated by the appeal of the pictures on their network's Web page. As one babe put it: "Big salaries, big market -- none of that matters. Being a news babe is the reason we all went to journalism school." (Wendy Rieger, WRC-TV, Washington, D.C.)

Callahan Online -- Really sick cartoons making fun of being disabled, from a cartoonist who happens to be disabled and therefore can get away with it -- one collection is called "The Lighter Side of Being Paralyzed for Life". The full story of how Callahan crushed his spinal cord in a drunk-driving accident at 21 and spent years as a paralyzed alcoholic is here as well.

The Culture Department -- Hard to describe. A very weird part of something called The Hypnotic Network, with sections like Hollywood Geek Machine, Dante's Pit of Advice and the ever-changing Mad Link of the Week. There's also Hell Job and Insult-A-Rama.

Authentic Batgirl site -- C'mon, you know you want to check it out. It's the official Yvonne Craig site, with celebrity photos and everything. Bam!! Pow!! And hey -- she wasn't just Batgirl. She starred in "It Happened at the World's Fair" with Elvis Presley, a movie called "Ski Party" and she showed up several times on Dobie Gillis.

And The Bride Wore... -- Someone's friend came across some pretty strange wedding gear while preparing for her wedding, and kept the weirdest. Here's a selection, including categories like "Sleeves bigger than my head" and "Dear wedding lady - my butt isn't big enough."

The Straight Dope -- The official page devoted to the syndicated columns of Cecil "Straight Dope" Adams, "fighting ignorance since 1973 (it's taking longer than we thought)." What are hiccups? What was the tower of Pisa for? Has anyone had sex in space? It's all there.

Heartless Bitches International -- They're heartless bitches and they're proud of it. This site led me to one of my other favourites sites, All Men Must Die.

The Urban Legends Archive -- It's all here: gerbilling, cats in the microwave, toad-licking, Fatty Arbuckle, the Good Times virus, the Gerber baby, you name it. An incredible storehouse of almost-facts.

DisInformation -- A well-designed site that says it exists to dig beneath the regular run-of-the-mill news coverage and bring the real truth about various social and political phenomena out into the open. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's worth looking at.

The Barbie Chronicles -- So a photographer decided to illustrate the major schools of art using Barbie dolls. And what did Mattel think? They told him to cut it out. Now you can see the originals with the doll cut out, or some pics of "Gennie," a generic plastic doll.
