Hey kids, let’s drive into the hurricane!

I’m really hoping this is some kind of sick joke, but it looks to be a video of a couple and their three young sons, who have apparently driven their car straight into the path of Hurricane Gustav. What’s next for the Heene family — exploring a bomb-testing area for unexploded ordinance? (hat tip for the link goes to Rex Hammock on Twitter)

    Hello Keyboard Jockey Mathew,

Today's GPS weather software allows any Tom, Dick, or Harry to storm chase with aboslute precision within 2.5 cubic feet of accuracy. This ability opens up the possibilities to manuveur in and around storms, unlike the parents who harbor their children into closets of the sitting duck homes, their homes immulate.

Think twice before you attempt to riduculing those who are highly trained in a field you personally have no idea, or training about. You don't know what you are talking about!
They have food, water, power, high tech info, and the ability to manuever around a storm system, unlike the non-trained victims of the storms.
  • If you think GPS weather software gives you the ability to maneuver around inside hurricanes with absolute precision and at no danger to the occupants of your vehicle, you need your head examined.
