		<description>Great post, and I do agree that it&#039;s a great example of &quot;networked journalism&quot;, however I think that, on the flip side, it also provides some interesting insight into the possible pitfalls  of this method of breaking a story. There are a few comments supportive of College Prowler guides, and of course the majority are justifiably joining in to denounce this way of marketing. What I find interesting is that, apart from those whose credentials an outside observer like me can actually verify, anyone on either side of the debate could have vested intererests, either for or against College Prowler, that I will never be able to properly ascertain.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In other words, the size and complexion of these grey areas reinforce a various basic tenet of traditional journalism - reputation and credibility of the source are absolutely essential to establishing the quality of the information. Networked journalism is making strides to establish systems to address this, but, in my mind, is still quite a long way from doing so in any fundamental way.</description>
