For free you get nearly instant access to the vast majority of your music on any internet connected computer (and we will upload the entire library). And for 10 cents you can purchase a web song which gives you precisely the same access. Understanding that we do not yet have ubiquitous connectivity (but we suspect that day is not long from now) we provide a DRM-free MP3 for essentially every track in our catalog of more than 6mm songs. What is more, the web song price is a down payment on the MP3: in any event you do not pay more. And we have done this all in an ad free, subscription free, completely legal service. Admittedly, we do not yet have a mobile solution, but to be fair, we only just launched and, in any event, our first iPhone application will be out within days. Crippling restrictions? Hardly.
