To tell you the truth, Andy, I don't particularly care about the
details of what happened at Blognation. It just seemed like a similar
type of situation as Omnidrive, with allegations about missing money,
unpaid staff, etc. But since you raised the point, how can you say
that Blognation got its funding if Sam rejected it? Rejecting it
means they didn't get it, does it not?

Mathew, I have no bone to grind but you need to check out some of your facts. Blognation did get their funding - ask Paul Walsh http://twitter.com/PaulWalsh/statuses/677809402 - or check with mark[at]versatile-connections.com who arranged it. The question is why did Sam reject it?

As for the sponsor monies. Clive Gringas Director at Olswang and/or Judy Gibbons at Accel will both confirm that all the sponsor monies were given directly to TCUK not Sam.

See the TCUK site and you will see the Olswang advert. Many things went badly wrong with blognation but you need to sort out the fact from the fiction.

Thanks for posting that, Clay -- I hope that things get resolved
somehow, since a return on your investment looks pretty doubtful at
this point.
