Planning to watch a David Lynch movie on your iPhone? Fine — but please keep in mind that the director hates you.

The same is true for watching movies on an airplane… in fact, I'd rather watch a movie on my iPod, than an airplane.

I have a 16GB iPod touch with a $299 pair of Shure 310 headphones. I agree with David Lynch – to a point. it's definitely hard to pick up the cinematic nuances of a movie on a small screen.

The fact of the matter is that too many movies are crap and not worthy of my time in front of the large screen LCD. If I watch a movie on my iPod and I enjoy it, I'll almost always watch it again on my LCD at home.

I agree, Ben — many movies are barely good enough to justify being
watched on the tiny screen of the iPhone, let alone a real TV.
