I have left the we7 address just now because it is a site I recently discovered that impressed me more than Spiral. It too allows users to download music for free, financed through advertising. However, the tracks are download to own, DRM free. I also liked the Tastemaker, talent review aspect to the site.

Backed by Peter Gabriel, this looks like one to look for in the future!

Advertising supported music is the wave of the future. I commend Spiralfrog for being the pioneer, but their service is not what consumers want.
