I work at a professional networking site, www.konnects.com and I find that many facebook users are now turning to a more grown up network like Konnects or Xing. It seems that as Gen Y grows up they move on to more.

I think that even without the research most people would notice this divide. I myself was looking for a place to create an online community and noticed that it was hard to find the professionals like I can find on a site like LinkedIn but with the features like a Ning. I think that Ning will continue to grow at the expense of MySpace and Facebook, but that the profession community still needs to find a place to really collaborate. Please like Zoodango or Konnects for example. Sites that focus on professionals. Konnects recently made it as easy as Ning to create your own social network (http://www.konnects.com/communities), but adds business features and allows you to make money with your community through ad revenue and subscriptions.
