Mitch Kapor is not the inventor of Lotus Notes. He was the CEO of Lotus and he made the agreement that resulted in Lotus funding Ray Ozzie's company Iris Associates, which developed Notes. It was a team effort, but if anyone gets the credit as inventor, it's Ray.
