How do you click on the Radio?
Simple. Affiliate marketing has been doing this for years, with tracking built in. The radio announcer mentions a "deal" and to get that deal you must go to the website of the company and click on the "Heard about us on the radio?" link (or some other such link). Then you provide info on the radio personality and you get a deal.
See example at: www.proflowers.com (microphone in top right)

Kay, I'm sure you love Google, but I bet the traditional advertising industry is somewhat less enamored with the company :-)

And Peter, it will certainly be interesting to watch. If nothing else, there will be lots of upheaval, and that's often a good thing for a moribund industry.

And with 5% of AOL which owns Time Warner (which I believe owns CBS and CNN) they can now start AdTV - the circle of life continues. What will be fascinating is to see if the same model for search on the Intenet works on Radio and TV... my sense is that it will be different and other players will move quickly to counteract this threat.

We certainly live in interesting times.
